Customer Trust Platform Evaluation Guide
Compare platforms using the same customer journeys, operating requirements and cost assumptions before choosing a partner.
Start with the decisions you need to make
List the markets, customer types, payment journeys and reviews your team handles. Choose representative straightforward, incomplete and higher-concern examples. Give each provider the same scenarios so the comparison reflects your business.
Customer experience
Ask customers or testers to complete each journey on common mobile devices. Record completion, retries, unclear instructions and requests for help. Separate differences caused by your policy from those caused by the experience itself.
Review workload
Measure how many cases need attention, the information available to the reviewer and time spent obtaining missing evidence. Include escalations and reopened cases. A quick initial check can still create expensive follow-up work.
Reporting and accountability
Ask a reviewer to reconstruct a past decision, including the evidence, policy version, approver and final action. Check that permissions match your roles and that reports reconcile with individual cases.
Provider choice and implementation
Confirm required documents, markets and services in writing. Ask how a service is replaced, how unavailable checks are handled and who owns implementation and support. Test the handoff to your existing systems rather than judging only a presentation.
Total cost
Compare expected volume, minimum commitments, repeat checks, monitoring, data-provider charges, implementation, support and manual review effort. Use the same period and volume assumptions. Ask which costs change when you add a market or customer type.
A transparent scoring method
Agree weights before demonstrations: customer experience, review effort, evidence quality, coverage, implementation and total cost. Score each criterion from 1 to 5 against written acceptance conditions. Keep failed scenarios and unknowns visible rather than turning missing evidence into a positive score.
Use Truvon in the same comparison
Request a walkthrough using your sample journeys. Record the date, configuration and limitations of each test. This guide is published by Truvon and is not an independent ranking of providers. No competitor performance scores are asserted here.
